GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS – DUST & RIDE ISTRIA

1. DRIVER AND USER REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum driver age: 18 years.
  • Required documents: The driver must present a valid Category B driving license.
  • Identification: All users (driver and passenger) must present a valid ID card or passport for the purpose of signing the Rental Agreement.
  • Passenger: Minimum age is 12 years, with mandatory supervision and written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

2. PAYMENT AND SECURITY DEPOSIT

  • Advance payment: The full rental or tour amount must be paid in advance, prior to vehicle pickup.
  • Mandatory deposit: Before the ride begins, the client is required to provide a €300.00 cash deposit.
  • Deposit refund: The deposit will be fully refunded immediately after the rental, provided the vehicle is returned in its original condition (without damage) and with a full fuel tank (for Rent option).
  • Agreement: Each client is required to sign a Rental and Deposit Agreement confirming receipt of the vehicle in proper condition and acceptance of these terms.

3. FUEL AND LATE RETURN

  • Fuel policy (Rent option): The vehicle is provided with a full tank (“full to the top”) and must be returned full. If returned without a full tank, the client will be charged for fuel plus a refueling service fee.
  • Late return fee: In case of late return, a fee of €40.00 will be charged for each started hour of delay.

4. SAFETY AND RULES OF CONDUCT

  • Protective equipment: Wearing a helmet is strictly mandatory for all participants throughout the entire ride.
  • Substance prohibition: Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication affecting physical or mental ability is strictly prohibited.
  • Driving rules: Dangerous driving (stunts, drifting, racing) and overtaking within the group during guided tours are prohibited. Driving is allowed only on agreed and marked routes within the municipality of Ližnjan.

5. LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE AND BREAKDOWNS

  • Financial liability: The client assumes full financial and legal responsibility for the vehicle. Any damage caused by negligence or violation of rules will be borne entirely by the client (covered from the deposit and additionally charged if necessary).
  • Technical issues: In case of a breakdown or accident, the client must immediately stop the vehicle and contact Dust & Ride Istria at +385 97 713 3794.

6. CANCELLATION AND FORCE MAJEURE

  • We reserve the right to postpone or cancel rides in case of extreme weather conditions for safety reasons, with a refund or agreement on a new date.
